Review on Sunforce 11134 200-Watt DC to AC Modified Sine Wave Inverter: Efficient Power Conversion for Versatile Applications by Jessie Drury

Background: Solar panel kit purchased from Harbor Freight. No inverter is included. Also bought an inverter (which looked more like a car inverter) from Harbor Freight. I charged the battery to 12+ volts but the inverter squeaked and didn't work. I read the instructions to do it under 13 volts. I sent this inverter back. Experience: Bought this Sunforce inverter. It is ideal for solar panel kit. It doesn't beep until it's less than 11 volts or so. And after reading the reviews here, it was found that this Sunforce inverter fan turns on even with no load. Sunforce must have changed the design so the fan doesn't run until there is a load, because that's my experience. (revised June 2012).
