I really like that the pieces have edges that complete the look of the mat when laid down and have no raw edges.Each tile fits together perfectly with no gaps.The overall size of the mat is decent, definitely offers good cushioning underfoot. I don't have room for the kids so I put it in the kitchen to see if it would help me stand on my feet while I cook and do the dishes. It helps definitely encourages me to stay in the kitchen longer.My only request to the company would be that these rugs come in a variety of colors, more muted neutral colors and di e option that all parts have the same solid color. I know this rug is more suitable for children's playrooms, playgrounds, etc. I believe this rug will be a great and comfortable place for children to play. I would say that it offers a comfortable play area for two children while still providing a comfortable padded seat for six children. I give 4 stars ONLY because of the lack of color options.
