This is amazing stuff. It's worth the price. I have used it separately on transfer cases and diff caps with no leaks. I've used it on a gasketed oil pan and it made installing the gasket a lot easier (again, no leaks). I've even used it to make a vacuum chamber seal: I let it dry for an hour, then loosely covered it with a lid to let it dry overnight. It sticks to the chamber, not the lid, providing the perfect seal and reusable seal. The best part is that you just stick the seal tube out a bit and let it cure. Next time you use it, take a small piece and pull, and about 1/2 inch will be tight and the tube coming out will be done. walk!
