I bought this particular size because some said it would actually fit two cedar cigar holders while others said there wasn't enough room. I went ahead and bought it for the price, which was reasonably discounted. First, it is airtight and has four lock sides. You can snap in and out by holding the lid tightly, although some of these clip locks can be flimsy and barely seem to hold the lid. There should be a little resistance to loosen them from the lid. What to focus on is the grip, which is completely flimsy and doesn't snap tightly to create a seal. For storage If you want to store 75-80 cigars without trays, this is possible depending on the ring size. I would say no more than a 50/52 ring gauge. While you can store thicker cigars, this reduces the amount you can fit. Now, in regards to using cedar trays, I don't see how two trays can fit without sanding or modifying them in any way. Maybe the old version that had more space has been upgraded to less space? IDK, but the Sistema 236 I bought doesn't fit two trays, only one. I've decided to store 80-100 unpeeled cigars, but a few packs of Boveda should do the trick. It depends on your needs and what you expect from using this model as a Tupperdore. Good luck☆☆☆UPDATE☆☆☆As of 8/26/20 I currently have 120 cigars in stock, some Robusto sized and others Toro and Churchill sized. There might even be room for a few more Robustos. I think I'll give the Boveda 2-way hydration system some extra breathing space so it can circulate properly. The Sistema 236 is ideal for storing up to six boxes of Robusto cigars, as long as each box holds twenty 5x50 cigars. I would definitely recommend buying this for anyone who doesn't want the hassle of a wooden case humidor. You don't have to "season" this container for a few days unless you use cedar wood trays inside, but then you also limit the number of cigars you can store. If anything, it's airtight, so it tends to be fresher and loses less air than a wooden humidor. It's literally a drop and stop system using Boveda packages. You don't have to worry about regularly checking the relative humidity and temperature on the hygrometer as it is more reliable as it is hermetically sealed.
