Review on Insulating Assortment of Swpeet Connectors for Electrical Applications by Justin Reese

These are good open crimp terminals. The easy part, but I felt I had to write this review to dispel some of the bad reviews. Some of these reviews were obviously written by people who don't know how to properly install these parts. These are open ended ferrules and require the right tool to install them correctly. This $5 auto parts store crimping tool does NOT work, nor do pliers or vices as some reviews mention. And not only do you need the right crimping tool, but crimping tools are designed for a small range of wire gauges. They only work properly in this range of wire sizes. I mention this because one of the photos posted from a bad review tries to use too much wire and then complains that it doesn't work. If you look at the pictures I've posted you'll see that using the right tool and wire size will make for a perfect crimp. I bought these to install 3/16" connectors on some AC input modules for a project I am doing for a client. I found the fit perfect with the right holding power. If I had any doubts about these parts I would never use them in a paid customer project but I don't. If you know what you are doing you will be very happy with these ferrules.
