We have four cats, one large dog, two and eight years old. It is absolutely essential to mop the floor every day to reduce the build up of pet hair and baby crumbs on our floors. I ordered this product hoping I could stop spending $18 a month on disposable mops. I tried the generic version of wipes and they didn't work at all so that was my other option. I'm so glad I ordered these alternatives to cloth napkins. They are incredibly soft, the bright colors are very cheerful, and I like to choose a fun color to ease the tedious daily work. Did I mention I hate cleaning? This product deserves a five star rating. It's easy to place on the mop by placing the tabs in the right place and they will definitely stay in place while you clean. A quick zoom around the room and it picked up more than a Swiffer normally does. Not just all the pet hair, but all the little crumbs and particles that inevitably end up on the floor. The texture and raised design of this lint brush prevent the scratching that sometimes happens when strange hard material hits the brush. I think everyone has experienced that little panic that the floor might have been scratched. Our floor was cleaner in one pass than two with this product, sweeping up crumbs that the brush couldn't pick up. To clean this product I removed most of the hair and debris and brushed the outside. I don't know if it needs to be washed after each use, but I tossed it in the washing machine in the cold and hung it to dry. No shrinkage and it came out very clean. I attached it to an unused pole to check for shrinkage. Perfect. I'm a very specific person and I'm always trying to find the best product I can find to get the job done. I am thrilled to have this product in our cleaning arsenal.
