Review on Transcend StoreJet 25H3 USB3.0 Portable Hard 💾 Drive, 4TB Capacity - Compact and Reliable Solution by Jeremy Byard

I bought two of these 4TB drives to quickly transfer data from my server and upgrade its internal drives. I opened up this BRAND NEW drive, transferred 2 years of work to it and reformatted my Drobo. Then they proceeded to transfer the data back to Drobo (within 10 hours of starting the process), the drive wasn't even mounted. Tried several cables and switching computers. Sending the disc back to Transcend who not only did not acknowledge receipt of the disc but also could not recover the data. Instead of sending me a new drive I have to send the defective one back so I can try to find someone else to try to recover the data. I have a few of their 1TB drives that I will now be replacing based on this experience. As you can see from the photo I spoil these babies and not just use them for carrying. Lesson learned.
