I have permanent nerve issues in my neck and left arm due to an automobile accident from years ago. When it flares up my entire forearm, wrist and hand feel like they are going to burst from the sensation of pressure I feel, its horrible. After being in and out of various therapies over the years, one of my therapists recommended a carpal tunnel brace to see if that might aid in relieving the pain. Sure enough it helps substantially.This brace is perfect for my needs. I typically wear it to bed when I have a flair up. It keeps my wrist from getting into a compromised position as I sleep so I don't wake up in more pain than when I went to bed.The brace itself is quite comfortable. The adjustment straps let you dial in the right amount of support you need. The internal metal splints help keep your wrist in a neutral position. The splint that runs directly above your thumb is removeable if you so desire to reduce the overall rigidity of the brace if it feels too constrictive.I'm 5'10", 200lbs, size 12 shoe, and usually wear a size XL glove and this fits me just fine. Overall this brace works very well in my case to help keep my pain levels down.
