I have other similar closets in the basement for clothes I don't wear often, this one is better and stronger so that's good. I specifically bought the version with the wire shelves over the fabric shelves and they seem pretty sturdy. Assembly was easy, I haven't heard any reviews complaining about it being difficult. No, that is not so. The instructions have clear diagrams and all parts are in labeled plastic bags so all you have to do is keep track of them and use the correct parts. I deducted a star for two reasons: - The overall dimensions, particularly the depth, are inadequate for adult men's clothing. I'm 6'4" and my jackets and shirts need to hang there at a slight angle or they won't fit low enough on my shoulders. There are also two tiers of places to hang things, but there's just no way to hang something when using the 2nd tier Even a pant file in half gets too long so I can only use a crossbar at the top to hang clothes and put shoes on the bottom shelf - The outer fabric cover is very very thin, so just pulling it across the assembled wardrobe will tear it in two places, not as bad as the back of the thing, walls, but still a better, more durable fabric covering would be an improvement.
