I looked at several refurbished computers and settled on this one. I figured out how much a cheaper version with less memory and storage would cost, and in the end the cost was the same if I bought the parts separately to upgrade or bought this with items already included. . After reading other reviews I decided to take a chance and ordered it. First off, this is NOT true HDMI. They offer you a cheap display to HDMI adapter that creaks and pops when you plug or unplug it. I would recommend buying a one-piece adapter cable. The fewer connections you have to worry about, the less things can go wrong. Start the computer and it will ask for the Win 10 key, no problem, the sticker is right on the case. Activated with no problem. Internet connection required for full activation. Grab an included Wi-Fi USB dongle, plug it in, and a notification says the device isn't recognized. Take the mini disc that came with the key and insert it into your DVD drive. Nothing. I press eject, nothing. Use a paper clip to eject the tray and it works by hand. Try it 2 more times and the same. Send a message that the DVD player is not working, they give me some options, I decided to install myself the replacement they provided. Arrived in 2 or 3 days, took about 15 minutes to install and now the DVD drive is working properly. After everything was set up and running, I started using the Wi-Fi USB dongle I already had before. The one that came with the computer seems to have poor signal strength and randomly drops connections. Everything else is fine so far. With the exception of the HDMI adapter, everything was as advertised: memory, disk/disk space, OS. As my title suggests, I believe you are taking a risk with this particular type of offering. You might not have any problems at all, or it might take a little tweaking to get everything together. The price was attractive enough for me to take the risk and I think it was worth it. would i do it again No, I only need 1 such computer. If I take another computer, then only for games. Otherwise, if that's what you're looking for, it's a decent daily computer driver with enough memory and space to have multiple tabs and windows open at the same time. Good luck and thanks for reading this far ;)
