These LEDs give the car a very expensive look inside and aren't that crappy dark blue. The color is much better than traditional incandescent bulbs. They are at least as bright, but probably no brighter than the original bulbs. Installation wasn't bad, but it takes time. The vanity lights and maps were perhaps the most difficult to install on my 2014 Kia Optima. In the end I decided it would be best to remove all the lighting fixtures from the ceiling panel and it worked. Just pry carefully and you're good. The same applies to the map light. Just be careful as you will need to unplug the Bluetooth mic cable. Do not attempt to install with fasteners intact. You will lose the LED in the headliner like I did and you will have to fish it out. Very annoying! LEDs are polarity dependent; looks like a battery so you may need to flip it if it doesn't light up the first time. I got an extra LED because my Optima doesn't have two dome bulbs like some models. Figuring out which LEDs are for which location is a bit confusing as they are not marked for any specific location in the vehicle (except for reverse lights). If the LEDs were labeled I would give 5 stars. The LEDs arrived early via USPS in a soft envelope. My question to the seller about the additional LED was answered very quickly and professionally. I've read reviews that recommend disconnecting the negative battery cable so there's no risk of blowing the $100 fuse in the Optima. I followed this advice and had no problems. After I installed all the LEDs, I reconnected the negative battery cable, noticed the LEDs weren't working, disconnected the battery cable again, swapped those lights, then reconnected. No problem. This should really be recommended by the seller as many people probably don't think to take such precautions.
