The product is in a middle or late stage of development. Both mouse and kbd functions are undocumented. They are still working on using the documents. As if there were a square button on the mouse. What is it for? There is nothing like this on the website or in the app. But it changes wheel scrolling from smooth scrolling to ratcheting (much easier to control). And for the record, scrolling with this mouse works like Windows, not Apple (scroll back, scroll down, not up). Although I think you can change that. I usually use a G710+ mechanical backlit keyboard (although I'm NOT a gamer) with an app called Multiplicity to share mouse and KBD between my i7 W10 and my i7 W7 which are side by side but use different monitors. This works great with a wireless logic mouse connected to the W10 box's keyboard receiver. The mouse moves back and forth well, the keyboard works where the mouse is. It's not the same setup. Something like that. This CAN be set with a flow to allow for a smooth transition from one winbox to another. Figuring out how to do this is not easy: there is NO documentation on this case! Aside from the useless web page and HTML setup screen. Logi says they're harassing the documentation team to get it. OK. For now. But they're going to have to eat a lot of returns because he screwed up so much I was ready to return it myself last night. Before I got it working today: The key is the latest version of OSX. Fat didn't work with 10.6, BT wouldn't connect (weird, the wireless Logi mouse connected to the receiver plugged into the USB port on the front. I don't know why). 2.8 Xeons. After finally updating from Snow Leopard 10.6 to El Capitan 10.11 (you have to be in Snow Leopard to reach Captain aka Yosemite. I believe the SL is $20 for a DVD in the Apple Store. More on Evil Bay), went get it going Working with Mac USING UNIFYING RECEIVER installed in USB port of Mac (not same receiver in Windows boxes). Didn't work with snow leopard. Wrong version of BT I think. But now there is no BT! To do this, you need to install software for Mac. Two parts: 1 is Logitech Options I think you would call it driver and the other is a firmware update for the kbd/mouse and for the receiver. I think if you've updated kbd on Win, you don't need to do it on Mac. I think the receiver needs an update in every one. I suspect there will be more updates in this area of firmware. Both the mouse and keyboard have a little switch or white buttons labeled 1, 2, 3 for computers, 1, 2, 3, 3 for Mac I think. Don't dare try to change this to see if the Mac could be #2 or something because it's working for me now! <G> To switch from one # to another you have to flip the switch on the KBD and mouse. The Flow software allows you not to have to switch between win boxes (maybe Mac too, I don't know. No documentation! In general I think it will be useful, especially on different platforms. But I understand that there's software I can do it for less than this kit costs Hardware: It's all software right now The mouse has more buttons and gadgets than I'd like, but it looks like you can ignore them or learn to use them Overall I prefer my M510, but so far the keyboard has fairly large keys with a semi-soft feel (compared to my G710+ mechanical switch.) The slightly larger keys help my non-pressing fingers more than just hit the key I want a software called Flow that allows you to move your mouse between three computers just by moving it back and forth, you need to arrange the computers in a pattern as well (my e are in a row from left to right). Installing software from Logi on my Mac involved this. Now I can just move the mouse from the W10 box to the Mac box... and keyboard focus goes with it. I'm deducting another star for that! -------- Update in early June. I give it more stars, max. As of this writing, both my Mac and the main W10 box are on their side while the internals are checked. New parts are coming soon. This package works with the W7 box without hesitation. This week I'm buying another set for the combination of Mini and W10 in the living room. Hopefully Logi will soon get a detailed manual for this great system. Oh, the Unified Receiver should work on 10.6.8 and above. That is for me. Even if you don't use the 850 combo pack, the M310 mouse will work on a Mac and OS ID --> latest version of Snow Leopard.
