We chose this playpen because we found it more aesthetically pleasing than segmented blocks. But if I could go back, I would definitely get one of them. Now that this one is finally assembled it seems sturdy enough that our child will enjoy the spacious confines of his new children's prison. HOWEVER, if I ever have to take this thing apart, I might have to saw it into a thousand pieces. I'm in good shape, a 6ft male, and I've FIGHTED, no shame. The piping was a hair too long and the fabric a hair too short, making assembly an absolute nightmare. They include an extra plug for each type because they know you'll have to break at least one along the way (I broke two). I'm honestly surprised the fabric didn't tear, I had to stretch it so much. They include 2 cotton gloves, probably because they know you'll bleed if you don't protect your hands, but they're useless if you're trying to handle smooth metal pipes. DO NOT EXPECT to ever pack this item and take it anywhere. You will hate your life if you do. Much luck!
