Finish is ok, well applied with an even shine throughout the cast. It's chrome so expect fingerprints, but it's not bad. What's not so good is that the front square and back square don't line up exactly. The front square is slightly crooked, which may be due to the part not cooling slowly enough after casting (actually, I have a semi-professional opinion on these things, but it could be something else, I don't care). No matter why the hook doesn't match the backside which doesn't make it look good. The offset isn't bad enough to be noticeable, but I've noticed since installing it. piece, and this is not an indication of the overall quality control of this manufacturer. Hooks like this can be found at hardware stores for a similar price without warping, so I'd suggest checking this one out unless I actually got a bad piece that slipped through.
