Worked exactly as expected. Easy threading (the taps were very sharp and strong), good sharp grooves on the threads etc. This was the second Champion set I've ordered and I was very happy with this one and the last. Wouldn't hit a thousand holes with this set but for the price you can't beat them.

You get what you pay for and in this case, although the tool gets the job done, you have to be very careful when using it. I broke one when I started pounding on the floor a little enthusiastically. When I slowed down, took my time and used a lot of tapping fluid, the work went well.

Glad to find this set. Contains all three common and useful profiles: cone, plug and bottom, making it suitable for through and blind holes. So far I've used them on brass, which is very easy to tap on. They come in a handy plastic box that separates them so they don't bump into each other. The threads I cut with it were sharp and well formed.
