Very important! for computers and tablets

Received the laptop a few weeks ago, so far so good! I'm relatively computer savvy but by no means a genius, and I'm a moderate to hardcore gamer. Pros: - I like the feel of the keyboard, it's very quiet and the ability to adjust the backlight colors in 4 separate zones - Powerful fans keep the laptop cool even during intense games. So far everything I need can work. Excellent screen display quality. Decent speakers, excellent sound quality in headphones. PredatorSense is a useful interface for controlling temperature, power, lighting, etc. The numeric keypad is a big plus - 3 USB slots, as opposed to many that only come with 2 USB-C + HDMI slots, and also - simpler additional memory - webcam in excellent quality. Cons: - The screen casing is plastic and I can understand why some reviewers had issues with it bending/breaking easily - The bevel of the screen is a little thick considering it's a modern laptop - The Power connector is in the center on the left side, which I think is a bit odd and out of place - The fans are definitely noisy even when running basic apps, but not obnoxious and definitely unnoticeable with decent headphones. The speakers are on the underside, so the sound can be muffled a little if placed on the wrong surface. I can't believe how much I got for $1200. This thing is a beast and can handle anything I throw at it, with some very minor glitches that aren't worth the extra $1,000 you'd pay for something 'better'.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Only available in black
