Review on Aleenes 15581 Stiffen Quick Fabric Stiffening by Kelsey Brown

I bought this specifically for macrame. I've been using it for about 4 days now and have to give a review as it's a lot of money to spend on a hardener. This works well with pieces that are tied tightly like in the picture. This won't make it stand up straight or anything, but it will create a protective barrier for the cotton. However, I was expecting this to work with macrame feathers, but it doesn't. It doesn't work on loose strands. I sprayed from a distance and the piece started to unravel and completely lost its shape. I had to clean and trim again and it was like I hadn't sprayed anything. From now on I will use it to finish off the knot but not to "strengthen" any of my loose strands like leaves, angels, tassels etc.
