Let me start by saying that I love this product. However, there are no preservatives in it and it can "spoil" if left for a long time. I usually buy it from the hairdresser, but I found it here on Amazon and decided to order it. When it arrived the tanks were wrapped in extra plastic (unlike the inside) and the security seal was missing. What confused me was the color, texture and smell of the product. Smells wonderful (slightly sweet but not overpowering), light opal, thick honey consistency. It smelled like birds, thin and darker than it should have been. Long story, great product but buy it from a store so you can check its color!
