Very nice watch. I bought this for my son who is 7 and is learning to tell the time. I like that the minutes and minute hand are red while the hours and hour hand are yellow. This helps him distinguish between them. However, I cannot read the red minutes. The numbers are too small and the red color doesn't stand out as well on the actual watch as it does in the picture. My son says he can read that though (to have young eyes again). I took off one star mainly because of the bracelet. I loved it at first because it's just a soft elastic and feels nice - it doesn't snag hair on your arm, there's no buckle that would be difficult for kids to fasten on their own. You can even shorten it if your child has very small wrists. But after wearing it for a day, my son noticed that the strap came loose fairly quickly and was not easy to tighten on his own. You'll need extra hands to pull it tight as it folds up and is held in place by small prongs. You can't take it off, tighten it, and then push your hand in as that will only loosen the strap again. Now I wish it had a stronger buckle strap or clasp. Otherwise the watch is very good and lasts up to several days if the boy wears it all day.
