Ribbons are stretchy fabric that attaches by threading it through a piece of metal with teeth (virtually no fasteners). It falls off my daughter's wrist after only wearing it for a few minutes. I like the look of the watch, but now I need to add a velcro or a completely different closure to stay on it.

Bought as my 3 year old daughter's first watch. She LOVES Snoopy and was very happy to get it. She understands numbers fairly well for a 3 year old and can easily read the numbers on this watch. We don't have a problem with it falling off after we fixed it (I've noticed several people have had problems with this in other reviews). This watch also feels very sturdy as my daughter plays quite rough when wearing it but you never know by looking at her. I would say this is a very charming first…

Very nice watch. I bought this for my son who is 7 and is learning to tell the time. I like that the minutes and minute hand are red while the hours and hour hand are yellow. This helps him distinguish between them. However, I cannot read the red minutes. The numbers are too small and the red color doesn't stand out as well on the actual watch as it does in the picture. My son says he can read that though (to have young eyes again). I took off one star mainly because of the bracelet. I loved it
