They go great with my 7.5 almond toe shoes. If you have round toe dresses, consider going 0.5 sizes down if possible. My round toe shoes slipped on the heel while the almond toes were nice and neat. This worked great in inclement Washington DC weather and walking on the wet North Carolina grass.
