Black screen on Imac 5k 27 inch 2017

Hello! I have an imac 5k 27 inch 2017 and tried to install it today. The screen stayed black when installing it so uninstalled it and set it back to normal. I currently have an 8GB Timetec installed along with two 4GB cards. I would like help if possible.
