This is my third T3 hair dryer after reading over a decade ago that they were the 'Rolls Royce' of some hair dryers in beauty magazines. My original worked a little better. than 10 years before I bite the dust which looks like a good long life which helps justify the cost here and my T3 featherweight it replaced still works, about two years later but I give too, i was excited to try a new model has come out. It's about the same weight but slightly less bulky than the featherweight in a different form factor, although the 'micro' designation is misleading as this is definitely a full-size hair dryer. quite a bit of bells and whistles, three heat settings are easy to adjust with a push of a button compared to a rocker switch, there's also a cold shot that you don't need to hold down to use, which is on the opposite side of the other controls to get one to prevent accidental triggering, and two different width hubs (one for styling, the other for drying). Additional heat settings (3 to 5), a volume up button, and an auto pause feature, which is really cool, are the only difference between these regular and "luxury" Cura models, so it's up to you to decide Ask if they're worth the extra $50. At this already insanely high price for a dryer, I'd say "maybe" because I particularly like the auto break, but your mileage may vary. I will say if you are currently looking for the T3 I would go with one of the Cura models over the older Featherweight model as it feels better in the hand. and the rocker switches on the Featherweight handle are too easy to accidentally press while drying. All T3 models do a great job of blow drying in a short amount of time (caution: I have fine hair) without my hair being frizzy, frizzy or needing a hot iron after blow drying.
