Good for my mountain bike and road bike. Very roomy and I was looking for something to fit my MacBook Pro, lunch and change of clothes and shoes I wear to work on a 15 mile commute. (only 30km). It seems fairly stable on the C-pillar with hooks and straps. I was a little worried that the bottom strap length would be too long and would hit the wheel, but until that happens I'll try to somehow shorten it for reliability. Also, I bought the 'grey' color but the actual color is what you see in the picture, closer to the khaki/greenish color which I think is better than the 'grey'. I haven't tested it in the rain but judging by the design and material it should hold up pretty well. The bags come with orange plastic covers so I'm sure riding in the rain will work just fine. Now for some (minor) downsides: although there's plenty of room in the pockets, there's no inside pocket, making organization difficult. - Shoulder straps for nothing to write home. Pretty minimalistic and not sure how long they will last, especially when all my stuff together weighs about 20 pounds. only time can tell. - I wish the outer mesh pockets could be tightened - things can fall out because the openings are a bit wide. and free
