Review on ❄️ SNO-FX! (Patented) Biodegradable White Artificial Snow Flakes, 4QT Bag by Cori Nance

We shot a short scene that simulates a light snowfall. It looked great and moved naturally, like real snow during a fall. However, we only had one take because the whole bag was empty in 2-3 seconds. We picked him up off the ground for the second take, but it was very labor intensive. To do what we wanted (a close-up with snowfall only in the foreground), we were able to use 5 gallons of stock. But of course that would be too expensive. So if I have another project like this I will be reluctant to buy again and will definitely buy a lot more. I just wish it wasn't so expensive for a small bag. If you want to decorate a static set and show snow on the ground or on plants, you need all of those too. I also don't think it would look convincingly like real snow if you photographed it up close and it wasn't moving. Speaking of movement, it's very, very light and only blows with the wind created when walking. If that's the effect you're looking for, great, but if you want a static beautification it might look unrealistic or too messy. Just something to consider.
