My wife and I have a teardrop shaped camper that we use an ARB awning on. This awning has an LED strip that runs on 12V with a cigarette plug. That's fine as our camper is set to 12v to dead dock when needed, but most of the time we camp on shore power. I was fed up with the wiring that has to go inside the camper to get to the 12v outlet and I didn't bother drilling a new one from the outside. With that you can connect the light to it and then to the already installed 110v street socket I just put it on the fender, under the table, away. It fits perfectly into our setup, seems reliable and quite cheap. Time will tell as to durability but so far this has been a good buy.
