I would give 5 stars if all sockets were installed correctly. I use them to mount LED bulbs that have wire leads instead of flat leads on each side. Most sockets I received did not have the pins/posts fully seated and the leads not fully bent, so I had to push the pins into the socket until they were fully seated and then press the sides together to get the leads properly were bent way. After all this work I can put the bulbs in and there is a reliable connection. This may not be an issue with other types of lights with a thick/sturdy base that allow you to slide the leads into the socket until they seat, but in my case I didn't want to risk damaging my LED lights. The best ones Secure the socket before inserting the lights.
