I connected this unit to my 2006 Pontiac Torrent and it turned on fine, FM station scan worked fine, cell phone connection worked fine but there was no sound at all from the car speakers . I checked the wiring again and everything seems to be done correctly. I reinstalled the original device and everything works as it should. I'll do some wiring this weekend. Maybe the adapter is to blame? I will post comments after doing some testing. After several hours of testing the unit (disassembling the harness adapter and connecting the wires straight from the radio to a set of speakers), I was able to hear music from my pair. Mobile phone, USB and radio station. I reconnected the harness adapter and was still able to hear the audio in the speaker BUT when I put everything back together and installed it back on my SUV. Still NO SOUND. All inclusive, all radio stations in the area are tuned in but no sound comes out of the speakers. I haven't given up yet and will try again. I will keep everyone updated. UPDATE: Third attempt with same result. I completely refused to put this radio in my SUV. I won't be using it in my office as I can't return it as I haven't gotten any sound from the speakers for a long time. UPDATE 3/2021: Had to pay a technician to find out the no sound problem was the included cable adapter which I got from the seller (cables were swapped -?-). I was able to connect the radio and everything worked great for TWO DAYS! The screen turned BLACK and did not appear again. I just removed it and put the original factory radio back in. I've completely given up on this stuff!
