Review on Multi Angle Measuring Ruler Professional by Alex Jones

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent price - imperfect design

For the price I think it's decent value and if you're careful you should get good results but there are a few things that bother me. about a design that just should have gotten right. First, if you tie individual sections together in a straight line, the measurement increments between each piece will be wrong - I mean if you run a ruler along the two joined sides of the pieces, no inches or mm will line up between them. Millimeters are closer, but still not the same. This is a big missed opportunity, if they were lined up this piece would be useful to measure. The second problem is the headdress. Parts are attached and partially tightened with a small square nut that fits into the groove of each part. but the main square part has no place to grab this square nut, so this part cannot be tightened so much that the nut does not rotate. Such a tool must be able to be tightened enough to work reliably, especially when you need to mark difficult surfaces. I measured many sizes with calipers in the pictures. Rather than attempting to explain them in the text I will simply refer to them. Overall I think it's worth $10 for light use, but lacks the overall build quality for professional use in my opinion.
