I was so excited to get this and the first few times it cut very thin fabric well. I'm left handed and I remembered that I could flip the blade to the other side, which I did. After that, the blade stopped retreating as it should. It always snagged and wouldn't cut off a slightly thicker piece of fabric, constantly skipping patches. I thought maybe it was because I switched sides so I swapped them back and it didn't fix the problem. I tried different types of fabric and the bottom line is that it could only cut very thin fabrics. On the plus side it was comfortable to hold, the locking mechanism worked well and it came with extra blades but unfortunately I bought it for cutting.
