Bought for a small outerwear closet to serve as a central location for all my electronics. I could barely see when I needed to restart my cable box or install a new device, and I was tired of shining flashlights to see something. I thought about installing a lamp, but it seemed redundant, complicated and expensive. This light solved all my problems and it's too bright for a small closet but that's where the up and down function comes in. In my case, this purchase was perfect. Installation took about 5 minutes and the 6 foot cable was perfect for running from the lamp to the extension that connects all of my electronics. The light is probably closer to 4000K vs 3000K, but that's not an issue in the closet. The fact that it's LED makes it incredibly economical and will hopefully prove it has the stamina you'd expect from an LED flashlight. Incredibly happy with this purchase.
