Regret the purchase in my opinion

32 inch version. The monitor is good overall. The image quality is very sharp and has almost natural colors, which is great for photo and video editing. I had a Dell 4k Ultra Sharp and already miss it. Now about why I regret buying it1. Does not work properly with USB-C. It worked for a while and then just stopped responding on my MacBook Pro or Mac Mini M1. And no, this is not a MAC update. Worked and then stopped. C does not behave like a hub. This thing has 5 USB + 1 USB C ports and they are not connected. Which is crazy to me. I actually just misplaced a cable for a usb hub and taped it to the back of this monitor is really so that i can use usb on the desk. 3. It is very difficult for him to pick up the HDMI signal. On my Macbook Pro, I use the monitor for the second screen (main) and most of the time when the laptop goes to sleep. and wakes up, the monitor refuses to turn on again. I have to turn it on and off to make it work. 4. The USB-C to HDMI Adapter for MacBook Pro doesn't work. rk at all, so forget about this solution. HDMI visible only.5. The buttons feel very flimsy and keep getting stuck in the case and I have to pull them out. no function problem, just materials and design shawty.6. Color gamut > 100% sRGB, but much smaller than AdobeRGB7. No matter how hard I tried to calibrate it, I couldn't get true colors out, so I ended up getting a Spyder to finally calibrate it properly8. There's some sort of automatic frame sync that causes the screen brightness to change randomly. These are not my Macs as I know they didn't do this with my Dell display AND that option is disabled on the Mac. Overall it's a good monitor and it gets the job done but as it was 5 years newer than my Dell I was hoping for a much better experience and not slightly inferior performance compared to this one.

Pros
  • 16:9 aspect ratio; The viewing angle (CR β‰₯ 10) is 178Β°/178Β°; Brightness (typ.) 350 cd/mΒ²
Cons
  • legacy model
