Review on 🎮 Razer Huntsman V2 Analog Gaming Keyboard in Black by Adam Borkoski ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average purchase, there are some things to complain about.

The keyboard is remarkably executed at the level of hardware, but the software eliminates a good 70% of the declared features. Think very carefully before buying. With its pros. - Excellent switches. Nice pressing. - Media keys and volume wheel. It is a pity that there are so few keyboards with this dignity on the market. - Comfortable pad under the arms, with a very friendly attachment to the keyboard (magnets). No plastic connectors that are bound to break. - USB/USB Type-c adapter included. Got cons: - 2022 letters on the keycaps are not engraved, but applied with paint, therefore they are not highlighted. - The backlight of the stand sometimes freezes and does not glow in unison with the keyboard. - A trifle, but if the keyboard moves on the table, in search of a comfortable position, then the stand will certainly detach. - The biggest flaw to pay the most attention to: Software. Razer Synapse: 1) This devilry tries to redirect the user to the manufacturer's website to show something, I don't know what. 2) Not the most understandable macro editor. 3) The program emulates the Xbox360 gamepad. No matter how strange it may sound, but many modern games work with a gamepad connected to the computer before anyone else. Accordingly, the user can connect a gamepad that will not be listed first. In some games, this is just a problem with moving through the menus. In some games (Crash Bandicoot 4, The Elder Scrolls Online), it will be impossible to control the character in the game with a physical gamepad. Therefore: either you install this program, or you play with a gamepad. Razer Cortex: - Contrary to the promises to "optimize the computer to improve the performance of the game," I have friezes where there were none before installing this wonderful software. Therefore, for me, this program is more harmful than useful.
