Didn't work with OSX

I couldn't get it to work on my Macbook Pro (not M1). I've tried several different switches, different docking stations, and different cables. I also submitted a ticket to the seller a few days ago and got no response. I plan to return

Literally the best purchase I've made this whole year. Works great with my gaming laptop and feeds 1 to 1 with zero latency and streaming on competitor servers with very minimal latency. Instead of the included cable, I used an ANKER USB-C to USB 3.0 cable and it works great!

Absolutely fantastic!

The most amazing little capture card I've ever used! Originally intended to use it with my PS4 but it didn't fit directly into the HDMI port. However, I found a workaround for this. The picture quality is incredible and it doesn't take up any space at all! The only thing is that it doesn't include a USB-C to USB adapter, but that's ok!

Good for the money but not great. I keep it though, it's still useful.

It works pretty well, it has a little lag so it's great when playing a non-action game, but something where the lag can solve or break gameplay isn't that best option. However, for the money, this is a great option. The video quality on my MacBook Pro is excellent. To be honest, the quality feels more like upscaled 480p than HD video. Use with Genki Travel Dock

Doesn't work with Mac

Doesn't work at all with a Mac running Big Sur. I downloaded their app. I have followed the instructions. I've tried OBS, which works great for me on other devices. I had it for three days and tried absolutely everything. I've never had so much trouble and it stinks because I stupidly threw the box away. spend $50. I do not recommend. Check out Reddit guides and troubleshooting comments before you buy as it doesn't seem to work with the new Windows update either!

Really good! But he has problems!

This capture card is really good! No lag on Surface Pro 4! Not bad for an alternative capture card! Not just for Switch! It can be used for other consoles like PS3, PS4 and other Xbox consoles. However, if you have a low spec PC for live streaming ((like I have with Surface 4)) it's not great. Also this is for PS3, IDK what happened to the sound? I launched Kingdom Hearts and the sound is gone, I test another game and find that the physical game has this problem! Although digital games are…

Simplicity Your name is Genki

I've been using Elgato capture cards for many years and the software (although feature rich) tends to consume system resources and with better options like OBS it feels overkill. Genki Shadowcast is VERY SIMPLE and awesome. 1 option VOLUME The following is not advertised but that is not a problem for me. $50 for a second monitor on my laptop. YES, PLEASE. Although advertised as compatible with the Nintendo Switch (which it is), it meets my needs as a second monitor on my laptop. I'm really…

Great product, bad software.

I got this because I upgraded my monitor (1080 to 4k) and the new one didn't have a button to toggle the input for use with my computer and Nintendo Switch. and play, but if you've fiddled with your camera, microphone, and audio settings (disabled them), the default software for this won't work and you'll end up spending a fair amount of time on Reddit to find a solution, like downloading an OBS. However, once I got it working playing my switch through my computer looked amazing, still no sound

Before I get to the main point, first make sure you test drive your Genki device on the same day you received it as the seller only gives us 1 day to return it, and that means you can only return it the day after you received it, just that day for a full refund. I was lucky that I decided to test mine the same night I received it and decided to mark it for a same night return. Now for my main thought in this review. I was so excited about this article when I first heard about it and I was…
