I got this because I upgraded my monitor (1080 to 4k) and the new one didn't have a button to toggle the input for use with my computer and Nintendo Switch. and play, but if you've fiddled with your camera, microphone, and audio settings (disabled them), the default software for this won't work and you'll end up spending a fair amount of time on Reddit to find a solution, like downloading an OBS. However, once I got it working playing my switch through my computer looked amazing, still no sound but I use the headphone jack to connect it to my surround sound system. Annoying thing about the software is that I have to enter Konami code for advanced control settings on Windows, I'm running 1080p and 60fps and don't really notice any lag, and if there is, it actually improved my dodge response in Hyrule Warriors. : Age of Disaster. Ultimately, great hardware just needs better software or manuals, so you don't have to rely on word of mouth to fix a seemingly common Reddit-based issue.
