Excellent performance, quality and price

This item beats its price by a lot. Like many products from similar sources, it's cheap, but it also meets almost all your expectations, except for easy assembly and documentation. After all, it can be used in all but the most demanding professional environments. The light produced by this softbox is very evenly diffused, creating a pleasantly soft illumination of nearby objects. It's designed for 80-100mm bezel monolights, but photographers on a budget will be very happy to know that it can also be used with very cheap socket flashes like this $17 unit: https://smile.amazon.com / gp/product/B00AXNABDA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and creates a much softer light than even a white translucent umbrella - and for less money! If you don't think this setup will work, just look at the attached photos. I would also like to emphasize that the optically driven synchronization of the AC strobe also works great deep in the softbox. Of course, this applies to indoor locations where you want to use an AC flash. I'm planning to make an adapter for outdoor use with speedlites like they have for Bowens mounts [https://smile.amazon.com/Photography-Speedlite-Reflector-Umbrella-Universal/dp/B00MVGJLWO/ref=sr_1_1?ie =UTF8&qid=1473876809&sr=8-1&keywords=speedlite+softbox+adapter], but better (does not stress the flash body). The device is portable in the sense that it is small and light and becomes very compact when folded. Package. The only problem with this product is that it comes without any documentation and assembly can be very difficult for most (as evidenced by the many "used like new" listings from Revain Warehouse). When I find time I will add to this video review how to do it. It takes 2 minutes if you know how. If you haven't already corrupted it by trying to do it wrong. I recommend this softbox to all photographers on a very tight budget and those who are tech savvy as it can be tricky to use.
