The toothbrush works fine. App stuff is beyond praise.

Many years ago I switched from OralB to Sonicare. I've been an SC user for many years and haven't had any issues with it. my tooth. However, the last few SC brushes unexpectedly failed me earlier than I thought. So back to OralB. This works fine for me. Teeth feel good. This brush has a few features that I like. I especially like that the brush glows red if you press too hard. This has always been a problem for me, as noted by my dentist and sad gums. The other has different cleaning options. I use the Sensitivity and Gum Care settings. That's really all I want and need in a toothbrush. The OralB brush does a lot. To be honest, too much for me. Via Bluetooth, this toothbrush connects to your smartphone and its app to guide, control, track and everything else related to brushing your teeth. You do it for a week or so because it's new, but after a while it's too much. This makes brushing your teeth tedious. From needing to have your phone with you when you brush your teeth, launching an app, watching the screen to "ensure adequate coverage," to setting up brushing tasks that you can rate. Come on! TMI. I believe if you have serious oral issues this can help ensure you are doing things right. No additional funds are needed for the average person who just wants to make sure they brush their teeth well twice a day. So OralB isn't that bad, it's just way bigger than me and I think most people need it. And the last thing they need to add is another toothbrush head. Kind of cheap to give just one.
