Review on Acer Predator XN253Q Pbmiprzx 24.5" Monitor, 1920X1080 Resolution, 144Hz Refresh Rate, Built-In Speakers, HDMI by Justin Knox

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I LIKE THIS! HUGE UPDATE.

I was given a choice of this 4k 28" TN panel or x34 at double the price and when I got the first I had to cancel the other because after watching 4k you can't go back to 2k or 1080. My SLI is finally going I was nervous about the reviews and if there would be any problems when it arrived, but I realized the reviews were for multiple versions of the product line and I got one that had no flaws whatsoever, the box was in perfect condition condition. With all the features it offers, I had to pick it up after seeing a $599 sale. Not only does it look beautiful, it looks high quality. I've run and tested almost half of my games and even spent a whole day playing this thing and it's just flawless. Before that I had a big 1080 60Hz TV in front of me and it doesn't look like a reduced size at all!I h Played BF1 a bit and noticed an improvement in the response of the whole, can't tell if it's because of the 1ms response time or if it's just because I'm finally using a gaming monitor instead of a TV, but you can see it right away. Also, I thought the TN panel would look gray and ugly as I don't think I've ever used it, but honestly there's no difference - the colors are bright and accurate. I would prefer IPS as I don't think it's worth the extra $200 to see it better from different angles. Too bad I didn't order this sooner.
