What can I say, but FAST. I've finally switched from 60hz and love high speeds. Everything seems smooth. I ordered mine for same day delivery and it arrived on time and in great condition, just a tiny scratch/hole, the interior was great). Well packed with hard foam. Plug and Play instantly with no connection issues. Easy to assemble. There's no tear-off screen cover. I'm very picky about people touching screens with their fingers, so be careful. I like the monitor itself. The product photos on the website are true. I would have preferred a more matter-of-fact/simple aesthetic, such as a rectangular block base, but it's a far cry from bright lights, pops of color, and big lettering. In the lower middle it only says "Predator" (slightly trite). The left and right edges look very thin, and they are, but the actual screen doesn't extend beyond the edges. So in a three-monitor setup, there can be a bigger gap than you might think from the pictures. Outside, before the start of the screen, a little thicker than a piece of trident (just on hand, unfortunately). Out of the box has good colors. I'm not big on screen color/nits/CDM whatever you measure but it looks solid but for reference I've been using a BenQ BL3200 for 2+ years which is IPS and it's a noticeable change but not big deal (for me). ). Your mileage/pickiness may vary. When looking at a solid color, there are no dead pixels. No slight glare, like my Benq, did not appear over time. So everything is as I hope for all SKUS. This was an adjustment to go from 32" to 24" and from 1440P to 1080P. I wanted speed. I'm happy with what I have. I knew right away when I switched it from my 60Hz monitor to 240Hz. Can I distinguish 144Hz from 240Hz? couldn't tell. I doubt it. It feels silky smooth compared to what I'm used to. ULMB mode works great. But I can't tell if it's enabled or not. Stay bright enough no matter what. G-Sync mode in Witcher 3, Starcraft 2, Overwatch everything worked as it should? Probably. I haven't had much trouble with any of them. They looked fluid and smooth. Tried some other games (Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinity, Isurgency) definitely smoother. Check at www.testufo.com/ suitable for 240Hz. This should be the only thing that works. fluctuates between 238 and 240 (which is why it is sometimes said that this is unacceptable) but does not drop below 230 FPS. Other tests look good. I don't know much about it. probably nothing. The only thing that worries me is the intermittent (read: hard to eliminate) black flash while watching. And also once during The Witcher 3 and once on desktop (not sure if something was running in the background). takes about 0.25 seconds, but I just lose every dot of color on the screen, and then everything goes back to how it was. What I know is this. This happens without warning. Never close the alt/tab switch window or background popup/application. The monitor is the only change to my system. This has never happened before. This happened with both of my connected monitors and only with xb252. Never just with benQ. Happened before and after several reboots/on and off. This happened with multiple G-Sync on/off settings. ULMB on/off. Various game settings. If a representative looks at this, I welcome the dialogue and the suggestions. I would hate to return my amazing monitor but I will if the problem cannot be resolved. too strict? I do not think so. When they're promoting such an outstanding performer (which is a very good thing), I won't tolerate quarter-second dropouts every few hours. Not when I've won/lost games because I've missed so much time. Drivers updated for NVIDIA, Windows, Game, Monitor (I have to guess here. Acer website doesn't even have a support page for it. :( Seriously Acer? Product registration on support website just says "PRODUCT* ***** (Serial Number I realize it's new, but send a message to the webmaster and make a support page for it. I can't even be sure if I'm registered. I'm worried about the blinking black screen monitor i think it's a 5/5 monitor but i won't give it until i know what's causing the flashes it's happened about 10 times in about 30 hours of use no not even in a row it has been turned on and off many times 10 times may seem like a small thing but almost exclusively during a quick Overwatch game this product is made for .If I wasn't up for that I don't know if 240Hz would make a difference in dollars vs 144 Hz or IPS or G-Sync are worth. Everyone has different budgets and needs. If my budget allows, I would go for a larger IPS screen. At the moment I mainly play Overwatch and I'm glad I can play with it. , keyboard, mouse pad, I don't usually write these but I thought I relied on a lot of other feedback and I think I'll be one of the first with this monitor to give someone the information they need to make a decision hold true.
