Review on 🐱 AMOFY Cat Scratch Deterrent Tape - 12 Packs of Furniture Protector | Sticky Anti Scratching Tape for Cats to Prevent Furniture Scratches by Michelle Meyer

Well if you need this

Over the years I have gradually replaced all upholstered furniture with fabrics that are not attractive to scratch cats. (Tip: don't opt for anything in tweed or shag, opt for smooth fabrics like ultra-suede.) And we have a bunch of claws of all kinds around the house, so have my four alternatives (which use them). However, one of my cats sometimes tries to nail down the sofa despite its slick pile. I've used Sticky Paws in the past, which works well, although these days the tape feels thinner and bulkier. And it actually left marks on the couch when I took it off. So I ordered these protectors as an alternative. The kit contains several protectors of different sizes, which, unlike Sticky Paws, only stick on one side. The one I used on the couch was easy to attach and took up more space than Sticky Paws. Unlike other reviewers, there were no sticking issues. There is a fairly strong vinyl smell upon opening the package, although it dissipates quickly. The piece I used was also wrinkled from the packaging and the crease didn't go away when I applied it. It's no different than a functional POV, but it may be an issue for some users who want everything perfect and flat. All in all I recommend this if you want to prevent your cats from scratching your upholstered furniture.
