I confess I am a woman. But I do like guys in white v-necks in the summer as a swimsuit cover-up, for working out (just to throw in the wash all the time.) and they can even substitute for a cheaper version of a t-shirt dress if they don't show through . They still seem a bit short even though I ordered a "large" size. I can usually easily tie on the side and they will still be roomy. the quality is good, the cotton is softer, a bit translucent - but I'm AFRAID of machine washing, I'm afraid of shrinkage - all cotton. and they are a little more expensive to have shrinkage. I've hand washed one and they hold their shape.
