Hmm, I'm not very impressed

I bought this in early April and now it's late May. I always like to take the time to use a product before testing it so I don't judge too quickly. I'm not a big fan of it. If you are the kind of person who likes to sit in bed and get things done on your iPad then you will be disappointed with this product. The screen doesn't stay in its groove, he turns, comes out, slaps the keyboard. Better support the iPad with a blanket or pillow. However, if you're sitting at a table and it's on a hard surface, you won't have any problems. The screen stays in place until you want to move it. When I bought it I was under the impression that it came with a pen but it doesn't. If you get that impression, make sure the stylus is optional. There is plenty of room for the stylus as there is a clip for it, but it has to be purchased separately. The keyboard is also a little frustrating. I don't know if it's just my keyboard, but I've found that the spacebar doesn't always work when I press it. I'm going to type something and I have to go back and retype what I just wrote because there are no spaces between words. Also, if you're buying a keyboard for your iPad for the first time, be aware that the new software that allows text to appear on the screen isn't compatible with the keyboard. You must always return to your messages to reply to a text message/instant message. This is iPad software, not a keyboard. As for me and my home, I will not buy this product again.

Pros
  • Folio protects the corners and edges of the iPad 5
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
