Review on Carhartt Womens Shoreline Jacket Regular by John Shitifano

I absolutely LOVE this coat. Got it in black after reading reviews that the green has a pink lining. I booked this for my spring trip to Ireland and it was amazing. I really like the thumbhole cuffs, but they don't bother you if you don't want to wear them. This coat is not very warm, but it is quite windproof, so it helps a lot with colds. The hood is large enough to keep my hair in a ponytail while still extending a little behind my face to keep my glasses dry. On the outside of the coat there are two pockets - one with a flap on the front, the other on the back with side opening. The outer flap pocket doesn't seem to be very waterproof. I had my phone in this bag and it got wet but I just put it in the inside pocket and it stayed dry and nice. I'm short at 5ft 2in but I have a long torso and it almost completely covered my ass. It was comfortable and easy to move around while riding, hiking, and kayaking, even with a sweatshirt underneath. The small size may have worked for me, but I wanted to be able to wear it underneath so I didn't have to pack 2 coats. It's a bit more expensive than I originally planned to spend, but it was worth it.
