I have successfully used this stand to store a 14 inch Dell laptop. It has 6 angle settings, anti-slip pads where it touches the laptop and pads on the bottom. Increasing the width or folding to fit in a holdall requires some strength (or center joint lubrication). When folded, with or without a bag, it fits nicely in the side pocket of a laptop bag.
