This is a quality package with safety measures in place to give you peace of mind when travelling. Big enough for me (boyfriend) to pack a week's worth of clothes for a trip to Venice (plus a travel pillow). I also bought a luggage lock to secure the main compartment. There is a place where zippers are attached for this. What I don't like about this backpack is the way the straps connect to the backpack itself. A small pad is attached to the straps in the upper area, where they come into contact with the backpack. If, like me, you like to carry your backpack high on your back, it's uncomfortable to carry. The backpack will only adjust until that pillow hits your neck from behind. So I have to live with wearing them a little lower than usual. A little peace of mind.
