Super pigmented. Some colors will definitely turn out darker than you think, which is a good thing. You can't judge it just by looking at them. There is no failure. Sorry for the pictures, but I just tested this. 70 year old eyes. I thought it was too shiny but then again it wasn't. Clean ingredients, super adhesion, that's not to like. The espresso has a great color, but not brown. I would rather say red-burgundy. I finally have an eyeshadow palette that has all the colors I can use. Now I just need to learn how to apply my eye makeup better. Update: I must be allergic to something in this eye makeup because wearing it makes my eyes sting. It's not unbearable, but uncomfortable. I still love the colors and the quality of the palette.
