I love this product. After receiving it, I tried it the same evening. I'm glad I read the directions because I wanted to wash my hair and the directions say to apply to dry, impure hair. I divided it into sections, soaked the ends and worked my way down to the roots. I turned it into a clip until I went to bed. Then I put on a shower cap. Other reviews stated that it was hard and chewy when dry. It did, but when I woke up the next morning it was soft and damp, so I guess my body heat under the shower cap was working. I also left it on for the full 12 hours (8pm to 8am). I washed it off according to the directions and instead of washing you added more conditioner. I rinsed it off, towel dried it and applied the usual tiny drops of argan oil. I let it air dry. I couldn't believe how amazing it looked even though I hadn't styled it! So smooth and shiny! Some reviewers claim they didn't like the smell. I didn't think it was that bad. To me it smelled like the Redkin thermal protection product I was using. Many of these thermal products have the same scent, so this is the best comparison I can think of. But that's no problem. This conditioner exceeded my expectations!
