It works . But there is something you need to know

So I was hesitant to buy this handheld carpet vacuum at first. Many reviews have said that the battery doesn't last long, or that the hose is too short, or that it doesn't work well. Here's what I experienced: When I first got the carpet cleaner, I went to charge the battery and put it in the car a few hours later. It worked for about 3 minutes and then stopped working. I was very confused. So I plugged the charger and battery into a different outlet and left it overnight this time. The next morning the battery lasted 30 seconds before dying. I thought I had a bad battery and was about to call the vacuum cleaner when my dad suggested I plug it into an outlet in another part of the house and voila. ! The battery has started charging! He explained that sometimes the plugs on a certain circuit breaker (in a certain room) won't charge certain devices, and this happens in many homes. (He's an appliance technician.) This may explain why some customers' batteries die quickly or don't work properly at all. But that's just my theory. It fully charged in a few hours and I cleaned 5 steps and 2 sofa sections on ONE CHARGE. Water had to be refilled 5-6 times. So yes, you have to do this all the time. And the hose is very short, so the machine has to be placed nearby. But all this took me about 20 minutes. And the car's battery lasted the whole time before dying shortly after my retouch. 20 minutes might not be too long. But it was way better than I expected after reading the reviews. I don't usually write product reviews at all. But I think people should be aware that the battery may need to be charged from a different outlet in a different room to get the full charge it needs. So far I'm happy with the car and if anything changes I definitely plan to update my review.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly
