Smells like chemicals or paint

I'm not sure what chemicals are used to make this thing, but it smells really bad. I can smell it all over the room and I've washed it in dish soap about 5 times and it still stinks. I don't put it on my face. It just gives me a headache next to him.

Headset Issues

Initially I bought this thinking it was all face padding as shown in the photos as our original has suffered some damage. This piece is extremely fragile and tore when we tried to put it on. Second, if this continues, something is preventing the headset from making it so the screen doesn't light up. I removed it and it worked fine again. In general, it's not worth it.

Okay, but that can cause power outages.

Edit: Tried it a few times and it works as it should, but causes a power cut for a few seconds. I have to look down to get back to normal. Not sure what sensor it might be covering or something like that. quite annoying and makes it unplayable. Lightweight thin piece for covering headset cushions. I'm not sure if it's worth the price, but it's not crazy expensive either. The little flaps help hide the space between the eyes, so that's a plus.

Barely sticks to headgear

This thing is a big pain. You cut it too close or in such a way that it doesn't wrap completely around the headset and every time you take off the headset the front interface cover comes off. You also have to be very careful when putting on the headset, otherwise you tear off the cover. Save your money and get it FREE from Oculus just by telling them where to send it. If you already have one from Facebook and just want to buy a backup buy it in a VR cover these guys know what they are doing.

Very good build quality and proper upgrade from Quest 1

Let me break it down and keep it simple Pros - Lighter weight - Better resolution - More comfortable - Faster processor and wifi chip - Better controllers - Longer battery life - Better handheld /controller tracking Cons - only 3 IPD setup settings - only one headphone jack - front interface with sweat sponge (requires spare silicone pad/skin - facebook required Overall very good, I use virtual desktop with SteamVR and it works great for everyone PCVR game I want to play Would recommend for the

Perfect fit and softness.

I had to buy a faceplate for my Oculus Quest 2 because a lot of games require movement, especially Beats Saber. Whenever I felt my forehead getting wet, I would stop playing to avoid getting the headset wet. After realizing that, I decided to find a protective case that Oculus could put on. This silicone product was perfect. First, the silicone is soft and fits the device perfectly. Second, there's an additional triangular section at the bottom that helps hide the device from incoming light…

Does exactly what it's supposed to do and is hygienic

I bought this because I had a lot of light on my question 2 where my nose came from so I bought it in hopes that he will block that light. Even though it blocked the light, I took off a star because it took me about 10 minutes to get the headset in the right position where the search was still crystal clear and would block the light 100% other times it blocks about 80% As a bonus, I'm having a small family party this week and I know at least 2 people at the party will want to try this, so…

I would like it to be a little tighter.

This product has everything right, but not a bit. It slides a little over the original coating. One of the main issues with this thing is that if the guard slides down far enough, the sensor will jam and the headset will go black. At first I thought my headset was broken, I looked away or squinted, then the screen went black again. After inspecting the headset I found the protective case slipped down and blocked the sensor, when I moved the protective case the headset caught fire again. So I…

  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Useless features

So after two workouts using the FitXR app I decided I definitely needed something to keep sweat from saturating the original Oculus face foam surface. I looked at several options and decided on this one. I use goggle pads which it has worked well with. You get a cover, not a replacement for the face interface. You simply remove the standard facial interface and put this cover on top and then put the original interface back into the headset. It fits perfectly. I haven't noticed any slipping or…
