One thing was far from perfect, part of the decorative stitching on the top of the mattress came out. Not much, about 3 inches - I don't mind. You always hear about the "adjustment time" to a new bed. It took me 10 minutes. The smell was almost nothing, I had to lift my nose about an inch off the bed to feel anything and even then it was very faint, it smelled new not bad. The bed was easy to install, might be more difficult for a short person. I've been sleeping on it for a week now. I'm 39 years old, 6'3", 240 lb male. I also use CPAP and sleep on my side/back. For the last few years I've had terrible pain in my back, hips and shoulders - almost every morning. middle of the waking up in pain at night I set up the bed let it stretch for about 2 hours then jumped on it to try, first thing I thought was 'fuck that thing then I accidentally got in less than Asleep in 10 minutes and woke up in about 2 hours. In that moment I realized that this bed is amazing. I had no pain and really felt like a million bucks after 2 hours of sleep. , If I lay down on this bed in the store, I would never buy it. I'm glad I went by people's reviews and not a showroom test. The first night passed without incident, the next morning everything was different. No pain. , no stiffness, actually was nothing. I can't remember the last time I was able to get out of bed without pain. My friend helped you massage me in the morning. Today she told me that all the knots in my back, hips and shoulders are gone, she can't find any. I can absolutely recommend this bed. I seriously wanted to spend $5-6k on a Tempur-Pedic, but I also did a lot of research online (I also recommend sleeplikethedead.com to find out what brand/type of mattress you need/want) and this brand found. I don't know how long this bed is supposed to last but for the price it offers I would happily buy a new one every year if needed. Consideration for Purchase - Get this. You won't find a better mattress at this price point anywhere else. This mattress is the definition of value.
